Join us for a very special performance by the Bardi Dancers at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm.<\/p>

A night of language, story and dancers. The Bardi dancers and singers will perform an\u00a0ilma<\/em>\u00a0sharing the epic adventures of Dilleye’s grandfather ‘Little Wiggan’ with the lyrics coming to Billy Archoo (Bibado’s grandfather) in his dreaming after Little Wiggan’s death.<\/p>

Interpretation of the\u00a0ilma<\/em>\u00a0will be shared and there will be opportunity to ask questions at the end of the performance.<\/p>

Performance will start after sunset and will go for 45 minutes to an hour and a half.<\/p>

This is a ticketed event. All sales revenue will go directly to performers.<\/p>

Bring picnic rugs and chairs. Happy hour 5-6pm and food available from Kiosk. Valid ID will be required to purchase alcohol. Dinner reservations essential if you wish to eat dinner after performance at our Homestead Restaurant.<\/p>

Drive: (2 hours north of Broome) on the Cape Leveque Road. The road is fully sealed, however, 4WDs are still required to reach many locations on the peninsula. The 3km driveway at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm is unsealed but has been graded for 2WD access.<\/span><\/p>

Fly:<\/span> We have a dirt strip onsite capable of landing private aircraft and can recommend charter plane options from Broome.<\/span><\/p>

Broome and Cygnet Bay is in a tropical climate zone. Seasons are typically described as the wet season (October to April) or the dry season (April to October), although Bardi and other First Nations typically recognise six seasons. The wet season is categorised by hot days and nights, high humidity, lightning storms and flash flooding. During the wet season, Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm has a reduced tours and accommodation offering. Be aware that wildlife includes birds, frogs, lizards, snakes, bats, mosquitoes, sandflies, spiders, insects, crabs, oysters, fish, octopus, stingrays, turtles, whales, dolphins, crocodiles, sharks, dugongs, and many others.
